  • Amici

    Amici

Amici means friends in Italian and this place can easily become your best friend when it comes to Italian food in Belgrade. While sipping your Aperol and looking at your handmade pasta or pizza you will definitely say La Vita è Bella!

Food is delicious and service is really good. Also, they have a nice terrace for eating al fresco.

Tip: Zucchini rolls and Pizza Paesana.

  • Flor (CLOSED)

    Flor (CLOSED)

If you are true gelato lover you wouldn’t want to miss Flor gelato in Belgrade.
Homemade soft Italian gelato with some great flavors to chose from.

You can go for traditional Vanilla and Chocolate all the way to some unique flavors.

Tip: Definitely try Mascarpone and Figs and Nuty (Nutella)

  • Beerland

    Beerland

Totally off the tourist map, this local pub is hidden in Banovo Brdo so you’ll have to work a bit harder to find it. Your reward beside good choice of beers will be food to match. Their burgers, sausages and freshly made bread can really be worth the trip.

When the weather is nice there’s plenty of room outside, but inside can be a bit crowded because it’s a small pub. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. If you are planning to come in the evening with a group of friends I would recommend coming early or booking a table.

Tip: Try local craft beer Hoptopod (IPA) and chilly sausages with cheese.

  • Cedic kafana

    Cedic kafana

Čedić is one of those off beaten track kind of place. Looking at the map there is nothing around it that will be off interest for regular tourist visiting Belgrade. But this local restaurant itself is enough of a reason to do just that.

Kafanas are local restaurants like taverns. It’s a place for family and friends to have lunch or dinner and have a good time. In some there is even live music. Today there are new kind of kafanas popular with younger people that are more of a club than a restaurant.

Not Cedic. It’s a family run restaurant with great food and service. A home away from home atmosphere.

Tip: Start your day at Ada Ciganlija, and finish it by coming to a lunch or dinner in Cedic. It’s a 5-minute drive away. Take a taxi or a bus and have a good meal away from crowd and tourist traps.

Try Rebarca (pork ribs) or Teletina ispod sača (beef).

  • Burger House

    Burger House

After a long day (or night) you want something to fill you up. Maybe some burger?

If you like a good burger you should definitely visit Burger house. They make great and juicy beef burgers.
You should note that it’s a small place but they have few seats outside when the weather is nice.

Their burgers are not on the cheap side but are worth the money.

Tip: Standard burger + cheddar, add honey-mustard or parmesan-garlic sauce. Home made fries are a must!

  • Crna ovca

    Crna ovca

Who doesn’t love ice cream? Located in Kralja Petra Street you can find one of the best artisan ice cream shops in Belgrade and even Europe I dare to say. Serbia has got plenty of fresh fruit which these guys turn into something even better. Similar to Moritz ice they are open all year round. They have amazing standard flavors but they always put new stuff for ice cream lovers to try.

There are few seats inside so don’t expect to fit a larger group. Also, you can have ice cream delivered to you anywhere in the city. One regular scoop is around 120 RSD (1 euro)

If you love ice cream this place must be on your itinerary.

Tip: Walnut, hazelnut, and gianduia are a must. Raspberry and Chocolate H2O are also in my top 5.
